Once I started making tons of face masks I decided it would be nice to have something to carry them in.
They also make great gifts if you are planning to give face masks to others!
This case is super cute and small enough to fit on a key chain.
I made two different versions, one lined and one without lining.
I also used several different closures – velcro, snaps, key rings, swivel hooks, and D-rings.
I hope you have as much fun making these as I did.

this is great thanks so much
Where can I find the pattern for the mask case? In the video you show and reference the pattern but I can not find it to print out or copy measurements. Thanks!
Thanks for letting me know! If you go to free patterns, and then service projects, and select the one-tie back face mask you will find the pattern.
There is a link just before the videos. Here is a link to the page
Hi thanks for the tutorial! I think I missed something. Where are the measurements? I saw the above comment and response but the link takes you to the pattern without the actual measurements.

Thanks for letting me know! The final measurements of the case are approximately 3.5 x 3.5 inches.
The basic case is made with a rectangle that is 9 x 4.25 inches.
The lined case is made with two rectangles that are each 9 x 5 inches.
Hope this helps!
I’ve printed the Key Chain Face Mask Case but it’s missing all the information on the inside such as the dotted line around the patter and folded lines.
Thank you so much for letting me know! I will look into it and see if I can fix the problem. Thanks again!
I wasn’t able to identify the problem with the pdf, so I added an updated version of the pattern to the site. This one is strictly in black and white (no gray scale) and may be easier to print. I hope this helps!
This is fantastic! Thank you for the pattern. I also have to absolutely RAVE about that adorable cat fabric – I would love to know where to find that!
Thank you!!! I love the cat fabric, too 🙂 Unfortunately, I don’t know if they make it anymore! I bought at at JoAnn Fabrics at a Black Friday sale a year or two ago and I haven’t seen it since. I really hope they bring it back!
